Top-notch international and local cultural leaders will gather on 27 - 29 May at the 2013 Cultural Leadership Summit, co-presented by the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and the Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association, to explore strategies for arts and cultural development. Themed “Arts Entrepreneurship – What it Takes & How it Works”, speakers will share insights into establishing and running successful arts enterprises, as well as sustainable development strategies for audience building, programming, operations, and resource expansion for non-profit arts organisations. The Summit will look into the different ways of applying the “entrepreneurial spirit” to the arts, with a focus on its current development in arts organisations and enterprises in Chinese-speaking regions. To give a panoramic view of all regional perspectives, the Summit has invited local arts practitioners, administrators and entrepreneurs, as well as policymakers to engage in discussions with our overseas experts.
