New curatorial internship programme tonurture local museum professional talent

The Museum Committee of WKCDA recently unveiled a new curatorial internship programme for qualified Masters and Ph.D. degree holders from arts and culture-related disciplines in local universities, to train and nurture their curatorial professionals in Hong Kong.

The six-month curatorial internship programme, which will also help establish partnership with local tertiary institutions, is a pilot scheme that invites local universities to nominate suitable candidates for part-time or full-time curatorial internships. Successful applicants will assist in M+ researches and in organizing museum programmes. Invitations to universities will be sent out in June, and shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in around August.
