Guided Tours to the '2009 Hong Kong and Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture' at the West Kowloon Cultural District

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) and the Hong Kong Institute of Architects are inviting secondary school students to enroll in guided tours to the ‘2009 Hong Kong and Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture’ to allow students to gain first-hand experience of the West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD), located along the Victoria Harbour. The programme lasts from 31 January to 27 February, 2010.

The guided tours and talks aim to enhance young people’s knowledge about city architecture and environmentally-friendly buildings, as well as passing on the message that the WKCD is built because the Government reckons that arts and culture is an inseparable part of our life. One of the missions of the WKCD is to create a plaftorm for artisits to showcase talents and to have cultural exchanges with others. It will feature local culture as well as culture of other countries.
